Alexandria T. Phan, MD, FACP, is a hematologist and medical oncologist at UT Health North Campus Tyler MD Anderson Cancer Center, specializing in treating patients with cancers of the gastrointestinal (GI) system. Dr. Phan has been a GI medical oncologist for more than 15 years in Houston.
She believes that every patient has the right to decide how to live and what treatment to pursue. “I believe that every patient’s cancer treatment should be personalized, and that cancer care should be based on scientific evidence and best practices. I remind myself daily that what I do is a privilege.”
