Aaron Wilson, APRN, FNP-C. is a certified family nurse practitioner who sees patients at UT Health East Texas Physicians in Lindale. "I care about my patients on a personal level and have a passion to give back to my hometown community. I am blessed and humbled to be able to serve those who come to see me when they are sick and hurting."
He chose to further his education as a nurse practitioner in order to serve his community in primary care. "Through my training and experience working with Winona ISD as a school trustee, I have come to love helping patients with their mental health. While cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in our country, few may realize that we live in one of the top counties in Texas for suicide."
Wilson makes it a priorty to further these conversations about mental health issues and address them as effectively as he would for physical health issues, such as high blood pressure or diabetes. "It is my hope that no patient would feel ashamed to seek help for any medical condition, whether physical or emotional."
