I treat both acute and chronic conditions, and I perform joint injections, well-woman exams, birth control consultations, skin lesion removal and biopsies, fracture and dislocation management, toenail removal and laceration repair. "What I love most about family medicine is the variety of people I meet and the longstanding relationships I form with my patients and their families."

When not seeing patients, Dr. Hertel enjoys watching sports, golfing, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
