Dalia Nessim, MD, MS, MPH, is an occupational and environmental medicine physician who practices at UT Health East Texas Physicians at North Campus Tyler.
Her primary focus is building personal connections with her patients while working to ensure healthy work environments. "There is a strong connection between a person's work environment and how it relates to that person's health. I work with my patients to identify risk factiors in their work environment that would lead to extended absences from work. Being a patient advocate,while working with the patients' employers to get them safely back to work is my goal. "
Dr. Nessim practices in the employee and occupational medicine clinic and is the program director for The University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler Occupational Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Nessim also conducts Department of Transportation (DOT) Physical Exams. She is fluent in English and Arabic.
Dr. Nessim is employed as a clinical faculty physician at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler under the UT Tyler School of Medicine.
